Macaron's Obsession

Hello, and welcome. It felt a little long time, and have not been updating this blog. I have been slacking, due to homework and doing some studying. But now finally, it felt that I have finished one of my classes, which is Meat ID and Fabrication. Finally now it is my winter break where I can finally just relax, and hopefully to be able to update this blog and some pictures.

Now for today's entry is my obsession of macarons.

Cherry Jam Macarons

I had my first try of macarons at the CIA, especially in the Apple Pie Bakery Cafe. I was very eager to try them and just really here at the CIA where I promised myself to try everything if I can.

Vanilla Macaron

Coffee Macaron

Macarons have that light shell, and it has that chewiness texture where I enjoy. All there is to a macaron is just two almond meringue cookie shells, that has been sandwich with some type of filling. The filling can range from a jam to a creamy frosting.

These are just a sample of macarons that I bought from the school. Sometimes when it comes to lunch or dinner time there is generally a cart with a plateful of macarons. And then people would follow them like vultures, and then start grabbing all the macarons.

Even though this was just a short post, come again for future updates and the adventures here at the CIA.
